EXPRESSION OF INTEREST AND SELECTION

January ballot / window Line for Indian Citizens will get open on soon and stay open for 48 hours only. Expression of Interest should be send by the candidates to the Home office. One person can send only one expression of interest.

All emails received within this 48 hour period will be entered into the ballot. You will get an automated reply confirming your entry.

Your email must be in English.

The email must include your:

• name
• date of birth
• passport number
• Mobile Phone No.

No documents need be annexed to the “Expression of Interest”

Home Office would randomly select the candidates from the pool of Expressions. Later, the home office will inform you if you are selected or not in the ballot for applying for Youth Mobility Scheme Visa. Then you will have one month to formally apply and obtain entry clearance under the Youth Mobility Scheme route. For those who are not selected may avail 2nd ballot which may get open after 4 months.

Youth Mobility Scheme Visa : ELIGIBILITY

Applicant should be aged between 18 and 30 years.

Education qualification of the candidate should be RQF Level 6 ie a bachelor’s degree.

Otherwise the candidate must have a minimum of three years’ work experience in a professional role or equivalent in an eligible occupation listed in Appendix Skilled Occupations.

If you have a child financially dependent on you then you are not eligible Tuberculosis (TB) test results is required for Indians.

There is Sponsorship requirement for Indians.

FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS AND FEES FOR YOUTH MOBILITY SCHEME VISA

The Applicant must be able to Financial Funds of £ 2,530 for 28 days prior to the date of Application. Bank statement can be provided.

The application fee is £244.You would also need to pay the healthcare surcharge, which is £470 per year, so for 2 years it will be £ 940

DURATION OF YOUTH MOBILITY VISA

The duration of the visa in the UK is for two years. You can live in the UK and work and study.

ENTITLED TO WORK AND STUDY

You can enter the UK at any time while your visa is valid, and leave and come back at any time during the visa period. You can work and study also. You can be self-employed and set up a company – as long as your premises are rented, your equipment is not worth more than £5,000 and you do not have any employees.

But you cannot work as a professional sportsperson or as a coach. You cannot get public funds. You cannot bring in dependents.
